InText was chosen to provide interpreting services for the 14th USPE European Police Championship in Swimming, which was held on from September 10th to 13th, 2013 in our hometown of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.
The European Police Sports Union (Union Sportive des Polices d'Europe, USPE) was founded in 1950 and now embraces 40 European members. Objectives pursued by the USPE are to promote sports among all European police forces and coordinate the preparation, organization and control of competitions held in 16 different sporting disciplines.
In addition to standard events the competition schedule included unusual ones such as swimming fully dressed, dummy rescue and a lifesaving combined event.
The Ukrainian team placed first in the overall ranking, and we cordially congratulate our athletes for their outstanding performance.
InText's participation in this event was aimed at supporting international sports and social activities in our region. Our interpreters helped athletes and referees to easily communicate easily during the championship days.
