In 2008, the Company made yet another step forward in realization of its strategic plans. The company's team made a concerted effort to take right decisions for moving on the business and providing the services to meet our clients' expectations.
In 2008, the company successfully fulfilled a number of projects involving new language pairs. We translated from Czech, Dutch, Swedish, Belarusian into Russian and Ukrainian as well as from English into Belarusian. Thus, the Company proved to have a great potential for expanding its market share.
Completion of a number of major projects was an important milestone in the company's development. Once again we have demonstrated our ability to cope with large and complex technical translation projects (300,000-500,000 words) which meet the Company's quality standards.
Managing such projects takes high concentration of the Company's best resources. At the same time, it is important to keep the smaller projects under control, to maintain the quality of the services and optimally redistribute the Company's workload.
Quantitative characteristics of the Company's operation are also worth mentioning. The number of completed projects rose by 45% during 2008; total translation volume (in words) went up by 95% y-o-y.
Apart from the growth in the number of translation jobs, the graph above shows that the share of large projects greatly increased last year.
In 2008 the Company continued to build up the client base. Currently, it has nearly 220 companies, 114 of which are our regular customers.
In the new year 2009, united and goal-oriented InText team will keep striving to improve the company's performance and making all efforts to satisfy our clients' requirements.
